What is Digital Commerce?
Digital commerce (also sometimes called as E-commerce) is the process of buying and selling goods and services online through digital channels such as websites, mobile apps, social media, and other digital platforms. E.g. Amazon, Apple App Store / Google Play Store, Uber Eats or Door Dash.

What is advantage for digital commerce?
Digital commerce is very easy because you can shop from home at any time without going to a store. You can buy products from many different countries, even things that are hard to find in your town. Shopping online can sometimes feel private, because you do not have to talk to a salesperson or anyone in person. It is also fast and convenient, and you can look at many stores at once to compare prices and find the best deals. You can read reviews from other people who bought the products, which helps you decide if it is good or not. Some online stores even deliver product to your door, which saves time and energy.
What are disadvantage for digital commerce?
Even though it is easy, shopping online is not always safe. Hackers or scammers can steal your personal information, like credit card numbers or addresses. Some products from other countries might be illegal or against local laws and morals, like pirated music or other illegal downloads. This can be a problem because using them can get you in trouble with the law. You also cannot touch, try, or see products before buying, so sometimes what you get is not exactly what you expected. Shipping can take a long time, and returning products can be difficult. Running an online store can also cost a lot for the seller because of websites, delivery, and security.
